Where’s Streater? Catch Him Here, There, and Everywhere! Now Flying Like a Superhero with Kids from High Aspirations

The Rod Streater Foundation and iFLY Indoor Skydiving Make The Dream of Flight a Reality

WHAT: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rod Streater continues his “Where’s Streater?” journey this time taking flight in the indoor skydiving facility at iFLY with kids from High Aspirations. At iFLY, Where’s Streater will be blown away – literally.  It’s thrilling.  It’s amazing.  Rod and the kids will experience the feeling of freefall as they float on a smooth cushion of air. There’s no parachute, no jumping, and nothing attaching them to planet Earth.  It’s just FLYING in the air in a vertical wind tunnel. With Rod’s love of science, iFLY was the perfect destination for Where’s Streater?  In addition to flying, the kids will be immersed in a pre-flight STEM educational program, conducting several experiments within the chamber based upon their grade level and learning first hand how to use their bodies mid-flight to apply the concepts just learned in the classroom. Where’s Streater? is helping get kids excited about science by bringing science to life and that in itself is a Thrill. Following their flights, everyone will be treated to a pizza lunch provided by Old Town Pizza, Overland Park, KS.

More than 100 young men have graduated the program.
