Mission Statement

The Rod Streater Foundation, a donor-advised fund at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, was established in 2014. With signature programs like, “Where’s Streater? Catch Him Here, There and Everywhere” and “Team Streater”, the foundation provides a channel for local youth to experience activities which promote healthy lifestyles, technology, culture and impactful messages of hope. The Mission of The Rod Streater Foundation is to create a platform to inspire potential and impart leadership values of respect, responsibility and positive attitude amongst local youth.

This awards honors those who exemplify commitments to the principles of sportsmanship and courage. The recipient symbolizes professionalism, great strength and dedication, and is also a community role model.
